Due To Novel Coronavirus Issues, Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland Are Closing For Some Time

Due to the growing concerns for novel coronavirus, the Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park in California are temporarily closing for a few days. They begin to close on the 14 March, Saturday. The government has restricted the gatherings and taking this as a consideration Universal Studios Hollywood and Disneyland Park are closing temporarily for this month. 

On Thursday, Disneyland has presented the statement regarding the closure of the amusement park as follows:

Although there are no such positive cases of novel COVID-19 in the Disneyland Park and Resort, we are considering the guidelines of the California Governor. The California Executives ordered not to gather any people until the coronavirus issues come to control. The orders are in the better interest of employees, guests, and tourists, and we are accepting the orders and closing the Disney California Adventure Park and Disneyland Park from the beginning of 14 March morning till the end of the month.

However, the hotels or accommodation facilities of Disneyland Resort will be open till the 16 March so that the guests residing there can make necessary arrangements for further travel so that they can reach their home cities easily. Moreover, Downtown Disney will also remain open. They say We will regularly maintain and monitor the situations and take considerations of the guidance and will follow all the necessary advice announced by the federal and state government and health agencies. We will also pay our cast team members during this closure session.

We are also going to help our Disneyland Resort guests who now want to cancel or change their visit schedule. We will assist them and provide their refunds to those who have already done bookings with our hotel for this closing period. We are going to anticipate the massive call as they may appear for these coming days and will appreciate the patience of our guests and work hard to respond to our guests ‘ inquiries quickly.

Just after the announcement has been made Universal Studios Hollywood has also taken the federal orders and closed their gathering points for several days till the notice comes for reopening. 

They said the safety and health security of our guests and team members are our main priority. To the consideration of the guidance announced by the federal officials and California Department of Public Health, The Universal Studios are also closing temporarily from the 14 March, Saturday morning.

Out of an abundance of caution and in response to the guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health, Universal Studios Hollywood will temporarily close beginning Saturday, March 14. From 28 March, Theme Park will reopen and keenly anticipates to monitor the ongoing situation.
